I have used AHC Youth Lasting Real Eye Cream for Face ( season 9) for several months, when it was first launched, and I have to say that it has since become an essential part of my skincare routine. This product is presented as an eye cream for the face, and while I initially found this concept unique, I've come to appreciate its versatility.

Texture & Absorption: The texture of this eye cream is luxuriously rich without being heavy or greasy. It spreads easily and is quickly absorbed into the skin. I've found that it provides an immediate burst of hydration to the delicate skin around my eyes and the rest of my face.

Hydration & Moisturization: One of the standout features of this product is its exceptional hydrating properties. It leaves my skin feeling plump, smooth, and deeply moisturized. The hydration lasts throughout the day, giving my skin a healthy and radiant appearance. I've also noticed a reduction in dryness and fine lines around my eyes and on my face.

Ingredients: The AHC Youth Lasting Real Eye Cream for Face contains a blend of powerful ingredients like peptides, hyaluronic acid, and vitamins. These ingredients are known for their anti-aging and skin-brightening properties. While I'm not a dermatologist, I did notice an overall improvement in the appearance of my skin over time.

Packaging: The product comes in a sleek and hygienic pump bottle, which is not only convenient but also ensures that the cream remains fresh and uncontaminated. A little goes a long way, so one bottle lasts for a surprisingly long time.

Soon Jung Moisturizing Gel Cream

The moisturizing gel cream is a true gem in this line. One of the standout features of this product is its lightweight and refreshing texture. One of the key highlights of this toner is its commitment to sensitive skin. This makes it an excellent choice for individuals with sensitive or reactive skin, as it minimizes the risk of inflammation or adverse reactions.

Soon Jung 10-Free Moist Emulsion

Soon Jung 2x Barrier Intensive Cream

The Soon Jung 2x Barrier Intensive Cream is a highly commendable skincare product that excels in fortifying and nourishing the skin's protective barrier. Designed to provide intense hydration and strengthen the skin's natural defense mechanisms, this cream offers a revitalizing experience for all skin types, particularly those with sensitive or compromised skin barriers.

One of the notable features of this cream is its rich and luxurious texture. Upon application, it envelops the skin with a velvety-smooth consistency that feels indulgent and deeply moisturizing. Despite its richness, it absorbs surprisingly well, leaving behind a comfortable, non-greasy finish that doesn't weigh down the skin.

I will say the Soon Jung 2x Barrier Intensive Cream provided long-lasting hydration throughout the day, making it an excellent choice for dry or dehydrated skin. However, individuals with very oily skin might find the cream a bit too heavy for daily use, especially in hot and humid climates. For such cases, using it as a night cream or during colder seasons can still be beneficial.

Similar to other products in the Soon Jung line, this cream is free from artificial fragrances, colorants, and other potential irritants. It is gentle on the skin and suitable for those with sensitivities or reactive skin conditions.

Today I'm reviewing the most recommended eye cream in the Korean beauty world the Innisfree orchid eye cream.

The Innisfree Orchid Eye Cream is a popular skincare product that is part of the Orchid line by the Korean beauty brand Innisfree. It is specifically formulated to target signs of aging and provide hydration to the delicate skin around the eyes.

The key ingredient in this Cream is Jeju orchid extract, which is known for its antioxidant properties and ability to help improve the skin's elasticity. I recently tried the Innisfree Orchid Eye Cream, and here's my review:

Ever since I discovered it, I've been getting it both for myself and for my family and friends. I believe it's a definite must-have.

This post is all about shampoos from two Korean brands: AROMATICA and NATURE REPUBLIC.

The first product I have tried is Aromatica Rosemary Scalp Scaling Shampoo.

Aromatica is a brand committed to protecting the environment while producing safe, natural and effective products.

And this shampoo in no exception as it is Vegan │ Cruelty free │ Sulfate free │ Silicone free │100% Recycled Bottle.

It is a product that aims to gently remove excess dead skin cells and to balance and nourish the scalp while promoting healthy hair roots.

I used this shampoo for about a year because it was a top seller in Korea and many people were recommending it. It is refreshing and has a light herbal scent. You really need to massage the gel into your scalp so that it removes dead skin cells and any excess oil or products.

What I love about this shampoo is that it helped me fight dandruff and itchy scalp. On the downside, it made my hair super dry, and since I was already struggling with dry hair, it only made things worse.

I struggled to finish the bottle, but unfortunately the flakiness issues made a comeback. Therefore, I will not be repurchasing this product.

Nature Republic Black Bean Anti Hair Loss Shampoo

I bought this shampoo twice because I wanted to test its effectiveness against hair loss for a longer period of time.

It is also a natural brand and this product is for sensitive scalps and people who struggle with hair loss. It has a clean ingredient list and has a gentle cleansing power. It is an acidic shampoo that helps balance the pH of your scalp and hair.

This shampoo doesn't have much of a smell, but you feel an instant cool menthol sensation when you first apply it to your hair.

I washed my hair twice each time to feel like my scalp was perfectly cleansed. But it wasn't stripping at all.

My hair wasn't as soft or manageable, but that's understandable because that's not what the shampoo is supposed to do.

Finally, after finishing both bottles, I was bummed out because I didn't see any real improvement of the amount of hair I lose every time in or out of the showers.

I have tested three of Etude House sunscreens this past summer and I’m here with reviews.

Etude House Soon Jung Mild Defense Sun Cream SPF 49 P++

Let me begin by saying that I had very high expectations for this one but it did not deliver at all. It is a physical sunscreen that targets people with sensitive skin and is formulated with a minimum of ingredients.

I have dry skin so imagine the disappointment when it left my skin drier then it was before application. Besides the texture was of a liquid cream but very difficult to spread and apply to the face. The white cast on this product is no joke so I will not recommend unless it’s used as a tone up cream or a primer.

I ended up using it on my hands and neck or when my skin was not cooperating and needed a much gentler sunscreen.

Etude House Sunprise Leports Water Proof SPF 50+ PA++++

Another physical sunscreen but without the horrible white cast. Out of the three, this one is my favorite. This product is for people who work out a lot or spend way too much time on the sun.

The texture is very liquidy, which makes it easier to apply but does not last very long. The bottle was interesting because you have to shake it, before using it, for the product to blend.
The fragrance is there so be careful if you’re sensitive. It does contain lots of alcohol so be advised.

I liked using this particular sunscreen, but I will not buy it again.

Etude House Sunprise Natural Corrector Light SPF 50+ PA++++

This is where it all went wrong, I made the purchase thinking that the "light" in the packaging meant light in terms of texture or the feeling on the skin. It turned out that they meant light as in skin tones. My bad.

The texture is thick and a bit hard to spread if you apply a lot. The product itself is pink hence the corrector part.

Etude House Sunprise Natural Corrector review

It has a floral scent, so check the ingredients carefully if you are sensitive.

This product is better used as a make-up base rather than a sunscreen. It's brightening but with a horrible white cast. It could work, though, for people with fair skin tones.

I've only used it twice as it's a bit dry for my skin.

In this post I’m reviewing the famous toner from the brand KLAIRS. I had it with me for more than a year now and finally finished the bottle.

Ingredients

Water, Butylene Glycol, Dimethyl Sulfone, Betaine, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Natto Gum, Sodium Hyaluronate, Disodium EDTA, Centella Asiatica Extract, Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract, Polyquaternium-51, Chlorphenesin, Tocopheryl Acetate, Carbomer, Panthenol, Arginine, Luffa Cylindrica Fruit/Leaf/Stem Extract, Beta-Glucan, Althaea Rosea Flower Extract, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Portulaca Oleracea Extract, Lysine HCL, Proline, Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate, Acetyl Methionine, Theanine, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil, Eucalyptus Globulus Leaf Oil, Pelargonium Graveolens Flower Oil, Citrus Limon (Lemon) Peel Oil, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Peel Oil, Cananga Odorata Flower Oil, Copper Tripeptide-1

The toner contains Centella Asiatica and Licorice Root which always a good thing in skincare product. For me at least!

Packaging

So the product came in a semi-opaque brown plastic bottle, easy to use and lightweight. The dark color of the bottle may cause some issues regarding the visibility of the product.

First use

After cleansing my face, as usual, I tested the toner for the first time. To my surprise the texture was a lot richer than a toner would be. It has fragrance in it but it did not bother me that much.

The problem was that it stung a bit while applying it and that was a recurring thing that happened over time. That is due mainly to certain ingredients present in the product such as essential oils.

So if you have sensitive skin, and considering buying it, then it’s better to try the newest version of this toner which is the unscented version.

Patch test before using anything!

Review

In terms of effectiveness, the toner was super hydrating whether used in one layer or in conjunction with the seven skin method.

Not so much soothing. But it allowed for a better absorption for the rest of the products in my routine. All the while filling fine lines with much needed hydration.

I did notice exfoliating effects when applied with cotton pads, the ones that it came with. The Klairs 2 in 1 were great with two sides for different usage.

Over time my skin seemed to have gotten a lot brighter than it used to be. It’s not like it fixed the hyper-pigmentation issues on my face but instead it allowed for a brighter complexion in general.

Overall

By the time I finished the bottle; more alternatives meant for sensitive skin were on the market. So I went with the Etude House Soon Jung line in order to try out and find what works for me the best.

So yeah I did not buy it again but I’m still interested in the unscented version for further testing.

This post is going to be a four products review from the Korean brand Innisfree.

I have been using most of these items for more than a year now. Some of the products are empties already, and some are not completely finished. So bear with me while I try to go through all of them.

PS: I usually buy on sales so the prices shown could be different.

Innisfree Aloe Revital Skin Mist 9$

The first product on the list is a mist-type toner containing 94% extract of Jeju organic Aloe Vera, claims to be Free of colorant, mineral oil, artificial fragrances, animal ingredients and imidazolidinyl urea. Also stating that it provides intensive hydration with refreshing moisture for the vitality of skin.

The mist came in a spray bottle wrapped in some kind of plastic to hold it together during shipping. Though sometimes the packaging was an issue for me when spraying the product. It goes every way but at least it gets the job done.

So I used the product at first like I would use a toner, exactly after cleansing. But I did not see any difference in hydration or in soothing effects. Even spraying it between skincare layers was useless to me. Could be because of my dry/dehydrated skin that it wasn't as effective for me as it was for the people who seemed to like it.

Eventually, I have found couple uses for this toner/mist. It works great when I get out of the shower, it calms and soothes my skin. which is helpful when you turn into a tomato while showering. Also because of the cooling sensation, I use it for misting my brushes or puffs while doing makeup.

Pros:  Cooling,  soothing and refreshing. 

Cons: No long-term effect, probably not for dry skin and no sign of the promised hydrating.

Final thoughts:  Would not be buying it again It was just below average for me. 

Innisfree Olive Real Lotion 11$

The next product is a lotion/emulsion from Innisfree olive oil line which they recently repackaged I am not sure if they reformulated or not but this is the old version.

The product claims to be Free of parabens, synthetic colorants, mineral oil, animal-originated ingredients and imidazolidinyl urea

This is A deep hydrating lotion with nutritious olives that delivers moisture deep into your skin.

1. A nourishing lotion for immediate hydration with organic olives full of antioxidants (polyphenol, oleic acid) and vitamins.

2. Extra virgin olive oil extracted from luxurious golden olives grown in the best environment.

To be honest  I was very impressed with the product. It was light, super-absorbent and hydrating. The consistency of the lotion was very runny and non-sticky. It absorbs well into skin leaving it soft and smooth. It was convenient to use day and night, it sets nicely under makeup and was kind of brightening. My mom was using it as well and she liked it too. Be aware though if you are sensitive to fragrances because it does have a subtle scent to it.  My dry skin loved this product, I was even putting it upside down so I can get every drop out of it. The thing I disliked about it though is the packaging. It looks pretty and all but the plastic bottle does not have a pump so it was difficult to get the product out. So imagine how long it took to get the lotion out when it's halfway through.

Pros: hydrating, light and great for dry skin

Cons: packaging, fragrance( it's not a bad thing for everyone) and not for all skin types.

Final thoughts: I was going to repurchase but I'm trying to expand so probably later on.

Innisfree Eco science wrinkle spot essence 27$

The third product on the list is an essence that I actually bought for my mother as a treatment for her wrinkles. This one is her second tube the empty one is in the trash by now so It is still considered an empties review.

The wrinkle spot essence that combines Jeju marine plants with Bio Seaplant Science™ to fortify the natural strength of skin.innisfree's special sea plant biotechnology strengthens your skin's barrier and boosts your skin's ability to protect itself.

So this spot essence is more on the thick side of essences, it's creamy and not oily but you need to dab it on quite well. You apply an appropriate amount on areas likely to have wrinkles such as eye, forehead and mouth area.

The product is actually very moisturizing, plumps up the skin and kind of help make fine lines less visible. But don't expect more than that. My mom liked it at first but now ditched it for some sulwhasoo samples. lol

Pros: Moisturizing and firming to an extent.

Cons: No long-term results and a bit pricey for the size of the tube.

Final thoughts: It's a good product but no third purchase. Will keep searching for better ones.

Innisfree Jeju lava seawater deep essence 27$A high-moisture barrier essence formulated with ceramide and Jeju lava seawater that activates the skin’s hydration power for firmer and smoother skin.
The essence came in a mini bottle with a pump which was easy to use. The texture, on the other hand, was a bit tricky, it was not as firm as a cream but also not runny like an essence would. It has a lightweight formula with a lovely scent. You use it after a skin toner, pump 1~2 times and apply evenly to face. Well for me it worked great it was very hydrating left my skin looking bright and soft. It absorbs quickly and worked nicely under makeup. 

The thing is, I bought it as an anti-aging essence, not just a hydrating one so yeah I was a bit disappointed. I was using it regularly for months but I did not see any difference from the first day till now.  Pros: Softening, absorbs quickly and easy to use. Cons: No anti-aging effect. Final thoughts:  Nice product but I'm not sure if I'll buy it again.

Hey! It's been a while since my last review but I'm finally making a comeback with an Innisfree item again. This time around is a hair related product

The Camellia essential hair oil serum

So I have bought this product on sale for like $8 approximately six months ago, and I have been using it since then. It had great reviews online so I thought why not give it a shot considering that camellia oil is known for it's healing and nourishing properties.

What is it exactly you might ask

Well according to Innisfree this is what this hair serum supposed to be doing:

Camellia essential hair oil serum that creates silky hair

1. Double treatment camellia oils

- Fermented camellia oil fills the holes of damaged hair and camellia oil coats the cuticles.

2. Hair strengthening

This hair serum revitalizes damaged hair affected by frequent perm and dyeing treatments.

3. Hair that flows and shines

This serum is instantly absorbed into the hair, nourishing the hair for a range of hairstyles.

This serum in particular is for people with dry or damaged hair that are looking to achieve healthy and silky hair. The product itself is easy to use just apply 2 to 3 pumps of the serum on towel dried hair concentrating on the ends.

My experience

As I said I had been using this hair oil for a while now so this is what I have to say about it.

It's lightweight and convenient so that's just great. It came in a 100 ml sturdy plastic bottle with a pump that dispense the perfect amount of product without making a mess.

Well it has a lovely floral smell that is not overwhelming or anything it does not even stay long in my hair to be honest, but just keep that in mind if that is an issue to you.

➽ The serum

The actual product is not sticky at all despite all the essential oils in it which makes the application a lot easier and effortless, plus it gets absorbed into the hair really fast. It's really clear and light it does not weight down my hair or makes it greasy in any way.

The sure thing about this serum is that it made my hair soft and smooth immediately after applying it, that means you can see it's effect right away while combing through your hair it becomes more manageable. Also what I really liked about it is how the ends of the hair stay soft the whole time even after drying and styling it.

On the other hand the product did not deliver on the promises it made for damaged hair precisely making it healthy, silky and glossy again. My hair still looks the same dry and dull.

Certainly you can feel and see the difference once you put in your hair but that's where it's stops, No long term healing or nourishment.Which was a huge let down to be honest.

➽ Final thoughts

Seeing as I still have a lot of product left I'm still gonna be using it until I find a better alternative however I'm not buying it again. I'm giving it 3 out of 5 stars as it was just okay for me.
