I recently had the pleasure of trying out the Macadamia Ultra Rich Repair Mask, and I must say it was quite the indulgent experience for my hair. As someone who has struggled with dry and damaged locks, I was eager to see if this mask could live up to its claims of providing deep hydration and repair. Here's my review:

Over the course of a few weeks, I continued to use the Macadamia Ultra Rich Repair Mask, and I noticed a significant improvement in the overall health of my hair. Shampoo Review: Aromatica and Nature Republic


This post is all about shampoos from two Korean brands: AROMATICA and NATURE REPUBLIC.


The first product I have tried is Aromatica Rosemary Scalp Scaling Shampoo.

Aromatica is a brand committed to protecting the environment while producing safe, natural and effective products. 
And this shampoo in no exception as it is Vegan │ Cruelty free │ Sulfate free │ Silicone free │100% Recycled Bottle.

It is a product that aims to gently remove excess dead skin cells and to balance and nourish the scalp while promoting healthy hair roots.

I used this shampoo for about a year because it was a top seller in Korea and many people were recommending it.  It is refreshing and has a light herbal scent. You really need to massage the gel into your scalp so that it removes dead skin cells and any excess oil or products.

What I love about this shampoo is that it helped me fight dandruff and itchy scalp. On the downside, it made my hair super dry, and since I was already struggling with dry hair, it only made things worse. 

I struggled to finish the bottle, but unfortunately the flakiness issues made a comeback. Therefore, I will not be repurchasing this product.


Nature Republic  Black Bean Anti Hair Loss Shampoo 


I bought this shampoo twice because I wanted to test its effectiveness against hair loss for a longer period of time.

It is also a natural brand and this product is for sensitive scalps and people who struggle with hair loss. It has a clean ingredient list and has a gentle cleansing power. It is an acidic shampoo that helps balance the pH of your scalp and hair.

This shampoo doesn't have much of a smell, but you feel an instant cool menthol sensation when you first apply it to your hair.

I washed my hair twice each time to feel like my scalp was perfectly cleansed. But it wasn't stripping at all. 

My hair wasn't as soft or manageable, but that's understandable because that's not what the shampoo is supposed to do.

Finally, after finishing both bottles, I was bummed out because I didn't see any real improvement of the amount of hair I lose every time in or out of the showers.

Innisfree Camellia essential hair oil serum Review



Hey! It's been a while since my last review but I'm finally making a comeback with an Innisfree item again. This time around is a hair related product

So I have bought this product on sale for like $8  approximately six months ago, and I have been using it since then. It had great reviews online so I thought why not give it a shot considering that camellia oil is known for it's healing and nourishing  properties.

What is it exactly you might ask


Well according to Innisfree this is what this hair serum supposed to be doing:

1. Double treatment camellia oils

- Fermented camellia oil fills the holes of damaged hair and camellia oil coats the cuticles. 


2. Hair strengthening 
This hair serum revitalizes damaged hair affected by frequent perm and dyeing treatments.

3. Hair that flows and shines 
This serum is instantly absorbed into the hair, nourishing the hair for a range of hairstyles.

This serum in particular is for people with dry or damaged hair that are looking to achieve  healthy and silky hair. The product itself is easy to use just apply 2 to 3 pumps of the serum on towel dried hair concentrating on the ends. 



My experience 


As I said I had been using  this hair oil for a while now so this is what I have to say about it.

➽ The packaging 


It's lightweight and convenient so that's just great. It came in a 100 ml sturdy plastic bottle with a pump that dispense the perfect amount of product without making a mess.

➽ The fragrance


Well it has a lovely floral smell that is not overwhelming or anything it does not even stay long in my hair to be honest, but just keep that in mind if that is an issue to you.

➽ The serum


The actual product is not sticky at all despite all the essential oils in it which makes the application a lot easier and effortless, plus it gets absorbed into the hair really fast. It's really clear and light it does not weight down my hair or makes it greasy in any way.

The sure thing about this serum is that it made my hair soft and smooth immediately after applying it, that means you can see it's effect right away while combing through your hair it becomes more manageable. Also what I really liked about it is how the ends of the hair stay soft the whole time even after drying and styling it.

 On the other hand the product did not deliver on the promises it made for damaged hair precisely making it healthy, silky and glossy again. My hair still looks the same dry and dull.
Certainly you can feel and see the difference once you put in your hair but that's where it's stops, No long term healing or nourishment.Which was a huge let down to be honest.

Seeing as I still have a lot of product left I'm still gonna be using it until I find a better alternative however  I'm not buying it again. I'm giving it 3 out of 5 stars as it was just okay for me.

Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum Review


I have mentioned many times before that I have Dry and Frizzy type of hair, and I'm on a journey of searching for products that will help ease my daily hair problems. Until then I'll just keep trying.

This time around I'm stopping by the Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Smoothing Serum.

 

Have you noticed how many "S" the name actually has. Moving on to the product itself starting by:

 

 

What it does?

Free from harmfull stuffThis  hair serum is supposed to Smooth, condition and seal strands, leaving hair silky, shiny and frizz-free in any weather. In addition to speeding up drying time and leaving your hair shiny and healthy. 

How to use it?

On damp hair rub one pump of the product starting from the ends and moving up. Because it's concentrated only a small amount is enough you can add more although it could get too oily for your hair.

My experience

The serum has a lovely fragrance to it and have an easy and secure packaging.

When applied after a shower it does makes your hair dry faster and that cuts time for styling, plus it's well absorbed.

It did smooth my hair a bit and reduced to a degree the frizz and the flyaways, have not noticed any shine though but in exchange my hair is more manageable and tangle free after using it.

However in order to get much better results even after styling I must incorporate other products that I have because the skinny serum won't stand a chance on it's own specially against the frizz.

So the product worked okay for me but I'm still using it anyway and hoping that someday I'll get the same results as everyone else with those awesome reviews. The bottle actually has plenty left in it even after three months of usage so you don't have to worry about spending more money every time.

L'OREAL PARIS Huile Extraordinaire Hair Mask Review


So this one time I was looking online for some recommendations for a good hair mask suitable for dry or damaged hair, and found this one on some magazine's website and I thought why not give it a try since it was available in my local drugstore.

L'OREAL Huile Extraordinaire Hair MaskIs supposed to be for: very dry and dull hair. As It's enriched with six micro oils of rare flowers or something that will transform your hair into a healthy, shiny and softer one. 

This item had some excellent reviews on it seriously everyone was saying it actually does the job better than any expensive product out there, and that really sealed the deal for me and I bought it.

The directions on the back says to use it in the shower after shampooing and towel drying your hair, applying it in sections focusing on the ends. And rinsing after 2 to 3 minutes.

To be honest the fragrance on this mask was unpleasant for me but I endured it many times to see if it's making any difference with my hair. Because the first time I didn't notice any changes whatsoever.

The texture is on the thicker side so I just applied the product with my hands every time I used it, beginning from the ends and working towards the roots. Even thought drying my hair first and putting the product next was very discouraging for me. 
While rinsing, my hair was really soft and tangle free and I hoped the effect will still be the same afterwards, unfortunately that did not happen.

L'OREAL Huile Extraordinaire Hair MaskAfter a couple of weeks of testing the Elseve hair mask I can fairly say my hair has gotten slightly smother but that's about it. Still as dry and dull as ever, I won't be purchasing again that's for sure.

Heat Protectant Products Review



It's no wonder that in order to prevent damaged and broken hair it's crucial to use hair protectant products whether it's a serum a cream or a spray, it just needs to be serving it's purpose to minimize the damage that dryers and irons will eventually bring to your hair. 

Therefore I will be sharing in this post two products that I prefer to use whenever I'm using hot tools on my somehow dry hair.  

The first one is Elseve Liss-Intense Crème Thermique 96H

The first one is a cream that supposed to provide nourishment and protection to your hair while keeping the frizz out for 96 hours. 
I actually really like the fragrance that this product have. I apply a fair amount of it all over my wet hair and particularly the ends.

You can feel the effect it has on the hair it becomes easier to comb through it and smoother without tangles. And that is what everyone is looking for.

The end result after I blow dry my hair is pretty good : soft and silky hair with less frizz -that I have a lot of due to my broken hair on the top of my head caused by excessive ponytails. 

 Moving on to the second product on my list.

  TRESemme Thermal Creations Heat Tamer Spray

This one claims to keep your hair shiny and incredibly soft while enhancing strands flexibility to reform and hold shape. 

To be honest I use this spray even on wild hair days you know, when you don't actually use any heat appliances on your hair. Just protecting from the sun rays I guess as silly as that may sound.

It has a light to no fragrance to it and does not weight down my hair as much, you can spray just a little and it covers a lots of strands.

My overall thoughts : my hair becomes smoother with  not as much dry ends as it used to be.
Heat Protectant Products 
I know it may seem strange, but I tend to use both of the products the cream and the spray when I feel I'll be needing as much protection I could get.

Round Hair brushes: Ceramic or Tourmaline

 

My go to round brush for a good blow-dry?

 

For a very long time I have been using the boar bristle round hair brushes in all types and sizes, but they never gave me the results I was looking for instead it just pulled at my hair and it was really hard for me to actually control the brush to style or dry my hair. 

So recently I had a new haircut shoulder length hair to be exact.

And that made me  switch to these smaller brushes the Conair one is  Ceramic  and the other one is  Tourmaline.

To be honest the difference was noticeable for both of the brushes. It was much easier to dry my hair as it took lesser time because the brushes didn't pull at my hair and glided through it easily. (What have I been missing right!!! )

But the comparison must be done because obviously one is better then the other in my personal opinion.
