The Etude House Soon Jung Line has been a delightful addition to my skincare routine, and I'm excited to share my review of these products. Inspired by the concept of inner radiance and natural beauty, this skincare line from Etude House aims to nourish and revitalize the skin. Here's my experience with the Etude House Soon Jung Line.

Soon Jung Moisturizing Gel Cream

The moisturizing gel cream is a true gem in this line. One of the standout features of this product is its lightweight and refreshing texture. As soon as you apply it, the gel effortlessly glides onto the skin, leaving behind a cooling sensation that instantly revives tired and parched skin. The formula is non-greasy and absorbs quickly, making it suitable for all skin types, especially those with oily or combination skin. 

While the gel cream provides adequate hydration for everyday use, those with extremely dry skin may find the need for an additional layer of moisturizer during colder months or in harsher climates. Additionally, the packaging, although functional, could benefit from a more aesthetically pleasing design.

Soon Jung pH 5.5 Relief Toner

The Soon Jung pH 5.5 Relief Toner is a true gem in the realm of skincare. Specially formulated to restore and balance the skin's pH level, this toner offers a soothing and gentle experience that leaves your skin feeling refreshed and revitalized.

One of the key highlights of this toner is its commitment to sensitive skin. It is formulated with a minimalistic approach, free from potential irritants such as fragrance, artificial colors, and alcohol. This makes it an excellent choice for individuals with sensitive or reactive skin, as it minimizes the risk of inflammation or adverse reactions.

The lightweight consistency of the Soon Jung Relief Toner is a dream to work with. It effortlessly glides onto the skin, instantly quenching its thirst and providing a surge of hydration. The toner absorbs quickly without leaving any residue, making it an ideal choice for layering with other skincare products in your routine. I have also used it to layer on my products, particularly when my skin needed an extra boost of hydration.

Soon Jung 10-Free Moist Emulsion

The Soon Jung 10-Free Moist Emulsion is a remarkable skincare product that caters specifically to those with sensitive skin. With its gentle and nourishing formula, this emulsion provides a much-needed hydration while delivering essential nutrients to the skin. "10-free," meaning it is free from ten potentially harmful ingredients such as parabens, mineral oil, artificial fragrances, and dyes. 

The texture of the Emulsion is lightweight and silky, making it effortless to apply and absorb into the skin. It spreads smoothly and evenly, leaving behind a non-greasy finish that doesn't feel heavy or clog pores. This emulsion works well as a standalone moisturizer for those with normal to oily skin, or as an additional layer of hydration for those with drier skin types.

One of the key benefits of this emulsion is its impressive moisturizing capabilities. Enriched with skin-loving ingredients like panthenol, madecassoside, and squalane, it deeply hydrates the skin, replenishing moisture and improving overall skin texture. I noticed that my skin felt plump, supple, and more resilient after regular use of this emulsion. It also excels in providing a soothing and calming effect to the skin. It helps to alleviate redness, irritation, and inflammation, making it an excellent choice for those with sensitive or compromised skin barriers. It's actually my favorite of the whole line. 

 Soon Jung 5-Panthensoside Cica Balm


The Soon Jung 5-Panthensoside Cica Balm is an absolute game-changer when it comes to soothing and repairing sensitized skin. Packed with powerful ingredients, this balm works wonders in calming irritation, restoring the skin's barrier, and promoting overall skin health.

One of the standout qualities of this cica balm is its potent formula. Infused with panthenol and madecassoside, it provides a concentrated dose of nourishment and healing properties to the skin. Panthenol deeply hydrates and locks in moisture, while madecassoside helps repair damaged skin and reduce inflammation. Together, they form a dynamic duo that supports skin recovery and rejuvenation.

The texture of the Balm is rich and creamy, yet surprisingly light. It spreads smoothly over the skin and is quickly absorbed, leaving behind a comfortable, non-greasy finish. A small amount is all you need for this balm, making it an effective, long-lasting option.

I found that consistent use of this cica balm yielded remarkable results. My skin appeared healthier, smoother, and more resilient over time. It worked wonders on reducing redness and promoting a more even skin tone, giving me a renewed sense of confidence in my complexion.

The only minor drawback I noticed was that the packaging could be improved to ensure easier dispensing and control of product amount. Nonetheless, this doesn't overshadow the effectiveness and quality of the balm itself.

 Soon Jung 2x Barrier Intensive Cream


The Soon Jung 2x Barrier Intensive Cream is a highly commendable skincare product that excels in fortifying and nourishing the skin's protective barrier. Designed to provide intense hydration and strengthen the skin's natural defense mechanisms, this cream offers a revitalizing experience for all skin types, particularly those with sensitive or compromised skin barriers.

One of the notable features of this cream is its rich and luxurious texture. Upon application, it envelops the skin with a velvety-smooth consistency that feels indulgent and deeply moisturizing. Despite its richness, it absorbs surprisingly well, leaving behind a comfortable, non-greasy finish that doesn't weigh down the skin.

I will say the Soon Jung 2x Barrier Intensive Cream provided long-lasting hydration throughout the day, making it an excellent choice for dry or dehydrated skin. However, individuals with very oily skin might find the cream a bit too heavy for daily use, especially in hot and humid climates. For such cases, using it as a night cream or during colder seasons can still be beneficial.

Similar to other products in the Soon Jung line, this cream is free from artificial fragrances, colorants, and other potential irritants. It is gentle on the skin and suitable for those with sensitivities or reactive skin conditions. 


If you're looking for a skincare line that focuses on inner radiance, hydration, and balance, I highly recommend giving the Etude House Soon Jung Line a try. It's suitable for a range of skin types, including oily and combination skin.
